Rotating a picture in 3D

Think of the image as a card floating in front of a camera. Tilt leans it backwards or forwards, Turn swings it left or right, Roll spins it in the picture plane. The field-of-view slider is the camera lens: wide lenses make the tilt dramatic, long lenses make it subtle. The four corners of the rotated card are projected through that camera and the image is resampled to fill them, so straight lines stay straight and the far edge shortens correctly.

Use it for product-style shots of flat artwork, "floating card" hero images, book and poster mockups on a plain background, or to give a screenshot a slight 3D lean.

Presets

Isometric-ish gives the familiar 20°/−30° tilt of app screenshots; Turned right is a book cover seen from the side; Lying flat is a card on a table photographed from above; Floating card adds a small roll for an informal look. Adjust from there.

Getting a clean edge

Export as PNG for transparency and composite the result in your editor over any background. The canvas size sets the output resolution; keep the image scale below 1 so the tilted corners stay inside the canvas.
